New K4Community Updates

Hi there, friend.

We recently released some helpful updates to K4Community that are now available to communities.

You (as a staff member) do not need to do anything to receive this update — the features are already available to you. Additionally, an update to the K4Community Plus mobile app is now available in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and is required to be able to support the below features. Here is a resource that you can provide to residents with instructions on how to update their app. In addition, a pop-up is shown in the app prompting residents to update their app — this pop-up has a direct link to the app store on their device (whether Android or iOS) and instructions on how to download the update. 

This release includes the following: 

  • A new visual indicator of the section and folder where a card is published.
    • When looking at a card in the “What’s New” section of K4Community Plus, users are now provided with a visual indicator on the card that informs the user of the section and folder where the card can be found again.
    • For example, if a card is published to the “Committee Meetings” folder in “Resources”, the card will state “Resources > Committee Meetings”.
  • Bug Fixes
    • There was a brief amount of time in which Safari users were unable to download reports. This has been resolved.
    • Other various Dining bug fixes.
    • Other various Event Manager bug fixes.
