Awardco Integration: Requirements and Implementation Guide

Integrating Awardco through FusionOS allows residents to recognize staff members with meaningful acknowledgments from within the K4Community Plus app. This guide outlines the key benefits, requirements, and implementation timeline to help you prepare for a smooth integration process.

Requirements

• An active Awardco account for your staff.

• A configured award program in Awardco that can receive external recognitions (K4 can assist with settings).

• Provide K4 with the following credentials:

  • Name of the award program

  • Awardco Recognition Amount

  • Budget Name

  • API Key (generated via your Awardco dashboard)

Implementation

1. Credential Exchange Call:

   • Schedule a kickoff call with K4Connect to review your setup.

   • Share necessary credentials including API Key and program details. (K4 will guide you in generating the required API key in Awardco.)

2. Enable Integration:

   • K4Connect will use the provided credentials to enable the connection.

   • A resident-facing recognition form will be created by K4 within the K4Community Plus app.

3. Integration Completion:

   • K4 Integrations Team will work with Awardco to finalize technical connections between K4Community and Awardco.

   • The form becomes live for resident use on an agreed-upon go-live date.

4. Go-Live:

   • Residents can now submit recognition notes, which are delivered to the selected staff member via the integration.
