What is Data Insights?

The Insights page of the Team Hub hosts your community's Data Insights. This dashboard has a variety of valuable data cards the help staff analyze data on event participation, resident engagement with digital content, app usage, and overall platform interactions to better understand your community’s needs.

To access Insights go to Reports > Insights

You can customize the time frame for any data card on the Insights page by clicking on the calendar icon.

Engagement

App Invites Accepted - The percentage of residents added to K4Community that have accepted at least one invite to the Plus app or k4community.com. Does not include archived users.
Daily Interactions per Resident - The average number of interactions per resident over the last 30 days, with a comparison to the previous 30 days before that. Interactions include app, web, and voice. Interactions are defined as opening or engaging the app at least once.
Average Posts per Day - The average number of posts added to the Team Hub over the last 30 days, with a comparison to the previous 30 days before that. Posts include announcements/notices, events, dining, and feed content (Post Manager/What's New).
Active Residents - Number of residents that have used the app or voice at least once. Shown by week over the last 90 days.

Content

Published Content - Weekly view of what types of content have been posted to the feed in Team Hub.
Most Popular Features - Areas of the app most used/visited by residents over the last 90 days.
Most Popular Events - Ranked list of events by popularity, measured by the number of signups for the event. Default look-back is 90 days.

RCI Alerts

RCI Alerts Time to Clear - Number of RCI alerts by week, compared to the average amount of time it took to clear and alert. Please note that large times to clear are the result of alerts never being closed and continuing to accumulate 'minutes to close'. All RCI alerts should be dealt with promptly and cleared daily.
RCI Alerts by Room - Ranked list of rooms that had the most RCI alerts over the past 90 days.

Smart Home

Smart Home Lighting - The number of smart home interactions comparing how many times a light was automatically turned on by a motion detector or with a remote control.
Smart Home Thermostat - The number of times a resident manually changed the temperature, compared to the number of times the K4 system set their temperature for them automatically. Please note that if no scenes are set to engage smart home automation at certain times of day, no data will appear for that category.

Alexa

Currently in beta testing. Your community may not have access to this just yet.

Alexa Devices - The number of active Alexa devices compared to the total.
Alexa Devices Active per Day - The number of active devices per day.
Alexa Domain Devices - The top dialog domains across devices.
Alexa Domain Dialogs - The number of dialogs across devices.
Alexa Top Domains - Number of dialogs broken into business domains.
Alexa Active Devices Domains - Active devices broken into business domains.
Alexa Actions Devices - Resident engagement across devices. There must be at least 10 active devices in a day to show data.
Alexa Actions Duration - Duration of resident engagement actions (in minutes). There must be at least 10 active devices in a day to show data.
Alexa Campaign Devices - The number of devices targeted by campaigns. There must be at least 10 active devices in a day to show data.
Alexa Campaign Interactions - The number of taps on a campaign card. There must be at least 10 active devices in a day to show data.

Energy Management

Currently in beta testing. Your community may not have access to this just yet.
