Staff Experience
Once enabled, the Direct Supply TELS dashboard will remain as the single source of information. This means that K4Community acts as a pass-through of information and community staff are not required to have access to K4Community Plus or Team Hub to manage Direct Supply TELS information. All management will be conducted in the Direct Supply TELS dashboard and K4Community will handle communicating updates to the residents through K4Community Plus.
Please note: When changing a status and leaving notes in Direct Supply TELS, users must check the box beside “Visible to Requestor.”
Resident Experience
With the Direct Supply TELS integration, residents are able to easily submit work orders from within K4Community Plus from the Requests section of the app. They’re not required to leave the app to submit the work order which simplifies their experience.
After the submitting the form, if the resident has an email address on file in Direct Supply TELS, they’ll receive an email confirmation shortly after submission and a card with the work order details and status will appear in the K4Community Plus app within a few minutes. If they do not have an email on file in Direct Supply TELS they will not get an email confirmation but they will still be able to see the status card in the app.
When the status of the work order is changed in TheWorxHub, the card in their K4Community Plus app will be updated informing the resident that a change has been made to their work order. The resident is not sent a push notification.
