Team Hub Creator
To add and customize widgets in the Team Hub Creator:
- Create your design. Click here for more detail on creating the initial design
- In the right hand menu, click Widgets
- Select the widget you would like to add. The widget will automatically be added to the canvas.
To delete any widget, select the widget and click Remove Element. This action can be undone by clicking the Undo button.
Common Customization Options
All widgets can be customized in the following ways:
- Depth - Click the Depth up and down arrows to change the widgets position in front of or behind other elements.
- Fullscreen - Check the Fullscreen checkbox to make the widget take up the entire canvas.
Daily Weather
The Daily Weather widget shows the current day, temperature, conditions, and high and low temperature for the day on a transparent background. This widget cannot be further customized.
3 Day Weather
The 3 Day Weather widget shows the day, temperature, conditions, and high and low temperature for the next 3 days on a transparent background. This widget cannot be further customized.
Today's Events
The Today's Events widget is a list of all upcoming events for the selected day on a transparent background. This list changes throughout the day and removes past events.
This widget can be customized by:
- Changing the opacity. Drag the Opacity slider to make the widget background more or less transparent.
- Showing or hiding certain event calendars. Check and uncheck the boxes next to the appropriate calendars to show only the pertinent events.
Date and Time
The Date and Time widget shows the current date and time on a transparent background. This widget cannot be further customized.
Daily Calendar
The Daily Calendar widget shows the events for either the current day updating automatically or a day of your choosing. Past events from earlier in the day are not removed as the day progresses as with the Today's Events widget. The events are color coded based on the event type colors configured in the Event Manager Settings.
This widget can be customized by:
- Changing the opacity. Drag the Opacity slider to make the widget more or less transparent. This includes the widget text.
- Changing the date. Date options include "Today's events" which will show events for the current day, updating daily or "Choose a date" which allows you to show the events for a past or future date and does not automatically update.
- Showing or hiding certain event calendars. Check and uncheck the boxes next to the appropriate calendars to show only the pertinent events.
Weekly Calendar
The Weekly Calendar widget shows a view from Sunday to Saturday with either the current week updating automatically or a specific week of your choosing. The events are color coded based on the event type colors configured in the Event Manager Settings.
This widget can be customized by:
- Changing the opacity. Drag the Opacity slider to make the widget more or less transparent. This includes the widget text.
- Changing the week. Under the "Week of" option, select the week's events you want to show.
- Showing or hiding certain event calendars. Check and uncheck the boxes next to the appropriate calendars to show only the pertinent events.
Monthly Calendar
The Monthly Calendar widget shows a standard monthly calendar grid view with either the current month, updating automatically, or a specific month of your choosing. It includes event type and location keys to help translate the color coding for event types and the 3-letter abbreviation for locations.
This widget can be customized by:
- Changing the opacity. Drag the Opacity slider to make the widget background more or less transparent.
- Showing or hiding the community logo, calendar title, year, or month. Check or uncheck the boxes beside each option to show or hide on the canvas. Hiding some of these elements allows for addition canvas real estate for your events.
- Showing or hiding the keys. Check or uncheck the boxes next to Show Location Key or Show Event Types to show or hide those translation keys.
- Changing the month. Under "Month" select the month's events you would like to show.
- Include or exclude draft events. If you have draft events, which are events that have been created in the Event Manager but have not yet been published, you can elect to show or hide those by checking or unchecking the "Include draft events" checkbox.
- Showing or hiding certain event calendars. Check and uncheck the boxes next to the appropriate calendars to show only the pertinent events.
Calendar Key
The Calendar Key widget shows a location key for all locations entered in the event manager settings in Team Hub translating the 3-character abbreviations into full names. This widget cannot be further customized.
Weekly Menu
The Weekly Menu widget shows, from Sunday to Saturday, a view of either the current week's menu updating automatically or a week of your choosing.
This widget can be customized by:
- Changing the opacity. Drag the Opacity slider to make the widget background more or less transparent.
- Showing or hiding the logo, restaurant name, or menu name. Check or uncheck the box next to each to show or hide the element. Hiding some of these elements can help create more canvas real estate for your menu items.
- Changing the restaurant. Click the Restaurant dropdown to select which restaurant's menus you want to choose from.
- Changing the menu. Click the Menu dropdown to select the specific menu you want to show.
- Changing the week. Under the "Week" option, select the week's menu you want to show.
- Changing which meals are shown. Check or uncheck the boxes for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner to show or hide certain meals.
Daily Menu
The Daily Menu widget shows a view of either the current day's menu updating automatically or a day of your choosing.
This widget can be customized by:
- Changing the opacity. Drag the Opacity slider to make the widget background more or less transparent.
- Showing or hiding the community logo, restaurant name, or menu name. Hiding some of these elements can create more real estate on the canvas for your menu items.
- Changing which restaurant you want to show. Click the dropdown under Restaurant to show the menus for that location.
- Changing the menu you want to show. Click the dropdown under Menu to select which menu you want to show.
- Changing the meal you want to show. Click the dropdown under Meal to select which meal's food items you want to show.
- Showing or hiding the food descriptions. Any food item descriptions that you added in the menu-creating process can be either shown or hidden by checking or unchecking the box next to Descriptions.
Website
The Website widget shows the current live view of a website of your choosing. If the webpage changes, the changes will be reflected on the widget. You cannot interact with the website via the widget.
This widget can be customized by:
- Adding a website in the Link field. Copy and paste the website of your choosing into the Link field to show it on the canvas.
