Smart home scenes are pre-programmed settings that automatically control your smart home devices based on certain inputs like time of day or status of another device.
Examples of scenes you can create include but are not limited to:
- Setting your thermostat to a preferred temperature for morning or night time.
- Turning on a light when motion is detected. This can also be limited to a certain time of day

This feature enables you to schedule a device to carry out specific actions at designated times throughout the day. For example, if you want to ensure that your Living Room fan is turned off every night before you go to sleep, you can set up a scene that automatically switches off the fan at 9:00 PM. While you still have the option to manually turn off the fan, using this scene acts as a safeguard, ensuring that it is turned off even if you happen to forget.
