There are several different types of alarms in K4NOC:

Controller alarms
- Controller Connection - Controller is offline.
- Controller CPU Usage - The CPU capacity below the acceptable range
- Controller CPU Temperature - The CPU temperature is above the acceptable range
- Controller Disk - The remaining space on the disk is below the acceptable range
- Controller Memory - The remaining controller memory is below the acceptable range

Device alarms
- Device connection - A device has lost communication with the controller
- Device battery - A device's battery level is below 25%

Wi-Fi alarm
- Wifi - The Wi-Fi signal-to-noise ratio is below 25 dB
Clearing an alarm
To clear an alarm:
- Click on the alarm in question. This will bring you to the room alarm detail screen.
- Click on the Fix button. This will launch a step-by-step guide helping you through the first few troubleshooting steps. If the device is fixed, the alarm will automatically clear. If, after following the guide, the device is still offline, contact Support.
Managing an Alarm Status
To manage an alarm's status:
- Click the alarm status button. Other status options will appear.
Select the appropriate status.
- Acknowledge: Allows the user to indicate to their team that they have acknowledged the alarm and plan to address it. The user can add notes as well to provide more context.
- Disable: Allows the user to clear the alarm without resolving the status that generated the alarm. This is typically done when a device is damaged or missing and is not going to be replaced. The user can add notes as well to provide more context.
- Snooze: Allows the user to temporarily dismiss the alarm until a future date. This is typically done when a device is in the process of being resolved and does not need to appear in the alarm details view in the meantime. The user can add notes as well to provide more context.
