How to manage Alexa Community Contacts

Add key community phone numbers to the directory, making it simple for residents to call from their Alexa voice device. 

Amazon supports up to 10 community phone numbers on Alexa. Coach residents to easily connect with key community services and staff with just their voice.


To add Alexa contacts in the Team Hub: 

  1. Click on AdminSettings > Alexa
  2. Select the Pencil at the lower right to Edit
  3. Select the blue Add Item button at the bottom
  4. Enter the name of the contact and the phone number
    • The name entered here will be the name the resident requests to call
    • The phone number must include the +1 prefix in the US, or the country code
  5. Click Save
