How to manage and post content to Digital Signage and/or Direct Broadcast using Digital Signage Manager

To post content to your Digital Signage or Direct Broadcast channel, you use the Digital Signage Manager in Team Hub.

There are 3 ways to initiate publishing content using the Digital Signage Manager (and one bonus way that bypasses the Team Hub altogether):

1. Directly from the Content Creator
    • After you've created a slideshow design you can publish it to DS/DB by clicking on Publish in the top right corner and selecting Publish to digital signage. (this includes Direct Broadcast as well)

2. Directly from the Content Library
    • In the Content Library, you can publish any slideshow design or PDF document by clicking on the 3-dot menu and selecting Publish to signage (this includes Direct Broadcast as well)

3. From the Digital Signage Manager
    • In the bottom right panel of the Digital Signage Manager, you'll see your most recently edited slideshow designs from the Content Library. Once you find the slideshow design you want to publish, simply click the Publish button to proceed.

Bonus: Directly from one of our integrations with Canva or PowerPoint

  • Our easy-to-use PowerPoint and Canva integrations pair our dynamic data widgets with the powerful design capabilities of these apps. Once you've created your content in one of the apps, you'll have access to all the same publishing functions as you would in the Digital Signage Manager without needing to export any files or leave the app at all.

Once you've selected publish, you'll be brought into the Digital Signage Manager where you can configure the publication settings.

  1. Where do you want this to play?
    • Select one or more destination to show your content (including Direct Broadcast, in-room channels)
  2. When do you want it to begin and end?
    • Indicate the start date/time and end date/time that you would like the content to be visible. This defaults to Play indefinitely which will continue to show the content unless otherwise edited later on.
  3. What play schedule do you need?
    • Indicate what time of day you would like for the content to be visible. For example, if it's a breakfast menu, you might select 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM. This defaults to All day.
  4. How do you want it to repeat?
    • Select the pattern you'd like for this content to follow. For instance, if this content only pertains to a weekly event, you might select weekly as the pattern.

Once the content is published, you can come back at any time and modify the publication settings or manually unpublish it by clicking on the 3-dot menu and selecting Unpublish
