How to manage and post content to K4Community Alexa devices using Post Manager
Content posted using the Post Manager can be read aloud by Alexa if it is shared to the Alexa audience.
Only content posted to the Notices category, specifically the information found in the Title, Author, and Description fields, can be read aloud by Alexa.
To share content to Alexa using Post Manager:
- In Team Hub, go to Communications > Post Manager
- Click on New Post
- Fill in the desired fields with the information you want to share
- Select Notice as the Category
- Select your preferred custom folder
- Configure the rest of your publishing details
- Select Resident Voice as your audience. You can also select Resident app and/or Friends & Family app, if preferred
- Click Post
Checking the Send app Push Notification checkbox does not send a push notification to Alexa devices. To hear any published notices, residents must ask Alexa for them.
