How to manage the Resident Directory using Team Hub

Add a new resident

  1. Click New Resident in the top right corner
  2. Fill in the Resident information including: 
    • Personal Information - Basic demographics including Care Setting and Resident Groups
    • Biography - If the resident would like to include some personal details to help their fellow residents get to know them a bit better. This can also be added by the resident in their K4Community Plus app under Profile.
    • Friends and Family - Add friends and family here to invite them to download the app and connect with their love one. Residents can also invite friends and family from their K4Community Plus app under Share K4Community.
    • More Information - Move-in date, Residence type 
    • Preferences - Opt in/out settings for Resident Check-in and Resident Directory. Turn these off if the resident prefers not to participate in RCI or to not have their information available in the Directory. Residents can also configure their visibility preferences in their K4Community Plus app under Profile.
  3. Click Save

This action will trigger a process that sets up the appropriate associations for smart home and voice services in the background ensuring the resident has access to these features. 

After submission, the resident's profile will show a Move Pending message until all of the appropriate associations have been made. 

Edit resident profile

  1. Select the resident profile and click Edit
  2. Make your changes and click Save
If the change you're making is that the resident has moved to a new location, click the Has the resident moved? button and submit a room move request. The address will be updated as a part of the room move process. 

 Move a resident

  1. Click the 3-dot menu on the resident profile in the left section
  2. Click Resident move
  3. Fill in the details of the move
    • Type of move: Move room (if the resident is moving to another location in the community), Move out (if the resident is leaving the community)
    • Reason: Change unit, Deceased, Higher level of care, Improved health, Moved in with family, Other
  4. Click Save

After submission, the resident's profile will show a Move Pending message until all of the appropriate associations have been made.
