How to notify residents via K4Community Voice that the mail has arrived
K4Community Voice allows community staff to notify residents that the mail has arrived through their Echo/Alexa devices.
To notify residents that the mail has arrived, click the Notify Residents button on the home page of the Team Hub under the Mail section.
Once the button is clicked, you can undo the action by clicking Undo. This will remove the notification from Alexa. You can re-click the button at any point.
The Alexa device does not announce the arrival of the mail nor does it show a yellow light to indicate a new announcement. To get the mail status, resident will need to ask Alexa, "Has the mail arrived?" or "Is the mail here?".
