MealSuite SSO Integration: Requirements and Implementation Guide

Integrating MealSuite's Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality with your community systems and applications with FusionOS provides residents with streamlined access to dining services, enhancing both user experience and operational efficiency. This article outlines the key benefits, requirements, and implementation steps to successfully launch the integration.

  • Resident Convenience: Residents can directly access the MealSuite portal via a single click from within the K4Community Plus resident app, without needing to log in separately each time.

  • Easy Access: By creating an app shortcut, the portal becomes easily discoverable, reducing resident frustration and questions to staff.

  • Enhanced Engagement: Depending on your MealSuite contract, residents may view balance and transaction details, place meal orders, and make reservations all from one place.

  • Streamlined Workflows: The integration ensures a consistent experience across platforms, simplifying operations and reducing staff hours spent entering data.

Requirements

  • MealSuite Contract Validation: Contact MealSuite customer service to confirm that your current contract includes resident portal access.

  • Credential Sharing: Once confirmed, MealSuite will provide the necessary credentials required for the K4Connect Integrations team to activate the integration.

Implementation

  1. Configuration: K4Connect’s integrations team will use the credentials from MealSuite to configure your integration and provide a dedicated access link.

  2. Create a TeamHub Post and Shortcut: You will be required to create a new Post on TeamHub using the access link provided by K4. This ensures visibility within your resident portal. We recommend you also create a Shortcut to the link for easier, ongoing access. If you need assistance with either creating the Post or the Shortcut, reach out to your friendly Support team or contact the integrations team at integrations@k4connect.com.

  3. Resident Access: Once the post and shortcut are active, residents clicking the link will be redirected to the MealSuite resident portal where they can begin using the enabled services without the need to provide login credentials to Meal Suite each time.
