Volante SSO Portal Integration: Requirements and Implementation Guide

Integration of the Volante SSO (Single Sign-On) Portal with FusionOS is designed to streamline resident access to services such as meal ordering and other Volante services. With this integration, residents can easily navigate from the K4Community Plus app directly into the Volante portal, fully authenticated and ready to use.

  • Seamless Access for Residents: Residents are automatically logged into the Volante portal when clicking on the link inside the K4Community Plus app—no separate login required.

  • Improved Accessibility: Simplifies residents' access to features like meal ordering and other Volante services. No need to launch and log into another app.

Requirements

  • Confirm Volante Account Configuration: Contact your Volante account representative to confirm that your account is configured to support integrations.

  • Volante Credentials: Volante will supply K4Connect with the necessary credentials to enable the integration.

  • PCC Patient Identification: The integration utilizes the PointClickCare system with PatientId as the primary identifier.

Implementation

  1. Integration Activation: K4Connect will enable the integration and provide a dedicated link to the Volante portal.

  2. Link Sharing: Community staff will create a post and shortcut in your TeamHub Post Manager using the K4-provided link. The post can be customized and targeted to relevant resident groups or care settings to ensure only residents with Volante accounts can see the link.

  3. Resident Access: Once the content is live, residents can use the posted link to access the Volante portal. They will be logged in automatically and can immediately use the available features such as meal ordering, etc.
