VolanteEats Integration: Requirements and Implementation Guide

Integrating VolanteEats with K4Community Plus enhances the dining experience for residents by providing real-time access to menu information

Key Benefits

  • Menu Visibility: Residents can view updated dining menus directly in the K4Community Plus app without staff needing to do double-entry of menu data
  • Alexa Compatibility: Menu data is accessible by residents through enterprise-managed Alexa devices, improving convenience and accessibility.
  • Automated Updates: Menu data is synced nightly from VolanteEats to K4, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information without manual intervention

 

Requirements

  • Account Setup with Volante Systems: Contact Volante Systems to confirm that integration features are enabled on your account.
  • Menu Data Preparation: Enter all resident-facing menu data into the VolanteEats platform to ensure complete and accurate information.
  • Credential Exchange: Volante Systems will provide K4Connect with the credentials required to activate the integration.
  • K4 Configuration: The K4Connect team will configure the integration and begin importing your menu data

Implementation

  • Timeline Coordination: Once setup and configuration are complete, K4Connect will work with you to determine a go-live date.

  • Go-Live Execution: At launch, residents will immediately have access to menu data in the K4Community Plus app and via Alexa devices.

  • Ongoing Updates: Menu data will continue to refresh automatically each night, ensuring seamless updates without additional input from staff
