If you have noticed that YouTube is blocking your public IP resulting in an inability for residents to view videos in the K4Community Plus app and Direct Broadcast, this means that your public IP has been associated in YouTube's system with "malicious activity." That doesn't mean that it's anyone at your community being flagged. It could be someone nearby. But either way, the solution remains the same
Solution
Our recommended fix is to ask your internet service provider (ISP) for a new IP from a different "clean IP block”. Another options is to reach out to YouTube Support to request that they whitelist your IP. You can pursue both of the options in parallel if you like.
Another option that would work only for Direct Broadcast is to open a browser on the Direct Broadcast player and login to YouTube so it has a valid session However, this option is not recommended because there's no guarantee that you'll remain logged into YouTube and you won't know whether you're logged out until you see the blocked IP again.
Contacting your ISP to get out of the suspicious IP block is the best possible solution. This will resolve the problem for Direct Broadcast and Plus app and will be a more permanent fix.
