FusionOS and Integrations Overview

FusionOS is K4Connect’s integration and data platform for senior living. It connects various software, hardware, applications, and services used by communities so they can share information and work together as part of an interconnected technology ecosystem.

Instead of keeping information in separate systems, FusionOS helps bring data together and allows connected systems to share information in both directions. This helps reduce duplicate data entry, simplify workflows, and gives staff a more complete view of their community.

What Does FusionOS Do?

FusionOS acts as the technology layer that connects the systems used throughout a senior living community. It provides an open and flexible framework for managing integrations, coordinating data, and supporting secure communication between a range of normally siloed technologies.

With FusionOS, information that is entered or updated in one system can be shared with other connected systems, applications, and/or services as needed. This helps staff spend less time managing multiple systems and more time actually using the information in those systems to provide quality care to their residents.

What Are Integrations?

Integrations connects K4Community with other technology platforms. These connections allow information to move between systems, helping different applications work together instead of operating as separate tools. Depending on the integration, data may flow into K4Community, out to another system, or in both directions.

K4Connect supports integrations across several areas of senior living, including:

• Team Productivity – Connect tools like Microsoft Teams and Exchange that help staff communicate and manage their work.
• Community Services – Connect systems like PointClickCare, The WorxHub, MatrixCare, eMenuCHOICE and others used for areas such as dining, resident management, maintenance, and other community operations.
• Unified Communication – Add RSS feeds and Inbound SMS text communication platforms and services to increase your ability to share information with residents.
• Content Creation - Use our Canva and PowerPoint add-ons to leverage the design capabilities of these tools with the rich data-sharing of K4Community.
• Resident Engagement – Connect platforms like Zinnia, YouTube, and Amazon Alexa that help residents stay engaged with community staff and their fellow residents.
• Staff Rewards & Feedback – Connect tools like Awardco that allow residents to provide staff recognition and feedback.
