K4Community Smart Home can connect and coordinate devices throughout a resident’s living space, including lighting and temperature controls. Residents can manage supported devices through the K4Community Plus App, with some features also available through Alexa with K4Community Voice. This allows residents to adjust their environment remotely using the Plus app and voice commands.

Smart Home Scenes allow residents to create customized settings for their living environment. A scene can combine multiple device settings so that residents can adjust their space to fit a particular situation or routine. For example, a resident might create a scene that adjusts lighting and temperature to their preferred settings.

Scenes can help make everyday routines simpler by allowing multiple settings to be changed simultaneously rather than adjusting each device individually.

Connected devices can respond to activity within the home and report to our Resident Check-In feature to provide staff with information about resident activity.
