4.1 Release

The Latest & Greatest of K4Community

We’re excited to announce the release of K4Community Plus and Team Hub version 4.1. This update adds several exciting new features that increase the functionality and ease-of-use of the Plus App as well as performance improvements and minor bug fixes. 

What's New

Plus App


Introducing Shortcuts! The Shortcuts feature provides residents enhanced accessibility to important and frequently-accessed information in the K4Community Plus App. With shortcuts, community staff can create customized links that allow residents to access documents and information with just one tap.

Note: Community staff will have the option to turn the Shortcuts feature on or off via the Team Hub. If the feature is turned off, it will not appear in the Plus App.

List/Tile View

Mobile app users will now have the ability to customize the way folders are situated on their screen. In any view where folders are present, with the list/tile button in the top right corner of the screen, users will be able to indicate whether they’d like to view the folders as tiles or a list.

Home Screen Selector

With the addition of the Shortcuts feature, Plus App users will now have the option to customize their home screen; the screen that appears first when opening the app. The options are “What’s New”, which is the default home screen, Library, or Shortcuts.

Logout Option (Mobile)

Mobile app users will now have the ability to log out of the app, if needed.

Community Switcher

Community staff who have access to multiple communities (typically these are users at the Operator level), now have the option to switch between communities and view the Plus App content for any of their community associations.

Event Signup Improvements

Plus app users who sign up a guest to attend an event will now be able to see that guest in the My Events section of the app.

Shortcuts Manager

The Shortcuts feature provides community staff with a valuable tool to enhance accessibility of preferred or frequently accessed information in the K4Community Plus app. With shortcuts, community staff can create customized links that allow residents to quickly access documents and information with just one tap. The Shortcuts feature empowers community staff to communicate valuable community information smarter, faster, and with greater convenience.

Community staff will also have the option to turn Shortcuts on or off for their community via the Shortcuts manager in the Team Hub.

Events Improvements

Community staff will now be able to see and manage guest signups for an event. If a resident has signed up a guest, that guest will be attached to that resident in the signup list. Community staff also have the ability to add, edit, or remove guest signups as needed. Any changes to guest signups for a resident will be reflected in that residents “My Events” section of the Plus App.

Bug Fixes and Enhancements

In addition to the exciting new features, we’ve also addressed several bugs and made various enhancements to optimize the app’s performance. Our aim is to provide you with a seamless and reliable user experience.

How to Update

For the web version of K4Community Plus and the Team Hub, there are no actions needed to receive the update. The app updates will be applied automatically. For the mobile version of K4Community Plus, simply update through the the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We recommend enabling automatic updates to ensure you don’t miss any future enhancements. If automatic updates are already turned on, the new version will be downloaded automatically.
