Inbound SMS Text
The Inbound SMS text integration allows staff to create announcements in the K4Community Plus app by texting a phone number provided by K4. That text will create a Post in Team Hub entitled “Community Announcement” with the originating phone number as the Author indicating it was sent via SMS text. That Post will be posted as an announcement to the K4Community Plus app. The post will be visible in the What’s New feed as usual and will be stored in the Library under Notices > Announcements. Messages must originate from a whitelisted phone number, which is typically from an SMS notification service that the community is already using.
This feature allows you to increase your reach and communication with residents when texting out announcements. If a resident doesn’t have a phone number on file, but they do have the K4Community Plus app, they’ll now receive the announcements they would have otherwise missed.
