Post Manager

Overview

After clicking on Post Manager in the left hand navigation pane of Team Hub, you’ll be presented with a library of “Posts” that have been created. Here, staff can share important information and resources with residents such as maintenance work order forms, meeting minutes, campus maps, and much more. 

Features and Options

  1. The Main View Library

    A list of posts defaulting to showing your Active posts. The post information shows the Title, Start Date, End Date, Audience, Category, and Folders.

     

  2. New Post

    Click here to create a new post. Can be found in the top right-hand corner of the Post Manager.

     

  3. Search Field

    Search for posts in the current view by title or your customized tag.

     

  4. View

    Easily filter posts by Upcoming (scheduled to post on a future date), Active (scheduled to actively show in the app), or Ended (scheduled remove post from app prior to today’s date).

     

  5. Audience

    Filter posts in the current view by the audience to whom they’re published: Everyone, Resident App, Friends and Family App, and/or Resident Voice.

     

  6. Options

    Click the 3 dot menu for more Post options including View and Edit or End Post.

Creating a New Post

The Post Manager allows staff members to share various pieces of content to both K4Community Plus (app) and K4Community Voice endpoints. Content is categorized into 1 of 6 options provided:

  • Notice
  • Resource
  • Menu
  • Photo (app only)
  • Video (app only)
  • NEW Requests (app only)

These categories are standard categories defined by Team Hub. Once a category is selected, staff have the ability to create an unlimited amount of folders to organize content in an easy to understand fashion. 

How to Create a New Folder

Folders are organized within K4Community Plus by the 6 standard categories listed above. Once a folder has been created, it is then stored in Team Hub for easy repeatable use.

To add a new folder, simply type in the name of the folder you wish to create, followed by selecting “Create [name] Folder”. To edit an existing folder, please contact your Customer Success Manager.

Editing or Ending a Post

You are able to edit Upcoming, Active, and Ended posts by clicking the 3 dot menu located to the far right of each post, followed by View and Edit.

You are able to end Active posts by clicking the 3 dot menu located to the far right of each post, followed by End Post.

You can reuse Ended content by clicking View and Edit, changing any information you wish to, and changing the Post Start and Post End dates.
